Below are important collision settings you need for Player Building System V2 to work correctly, if you migrated the it to another project or have made modifications to the collision settings you may be missing or have an incorrect setting. You may already have some settings set correctly but other might not be so its worth quickly going though and checking all these settings if you are having issues with the building.

Below is the Collision category in the Project Settings, you must have all the settings shown in the image below, if you are missing any then you can click the Create Object Channel button or the New Trace Channel option to add them depending on which category the setting is missing from. You can also see the default collision response in the image below as well.

You must also have the BuildPreview preset added to the preset drop down. If its missing then you click New button copy the settings shown in the image below. If you do have the BuildPreview preset then double click it and make sure its settings are the same as the image below.

Next go to the BP_PlayerBuildingComponent and select the Class Defaults button and search for collision, here you will see the same settings as the image below, make sure all the options in the red box are the same in your settings.

Next go to the BP_MasterGrid and select the Class Defaults button and search for collision, here you will see the same settings as the image below, make sure all the options in the red box are the same in your settings.

Next go to the BP_MasterBuildPart and select the Class Defaults button and search for collision, here you will see the same settings as the image below, make sure all the options in the red box are the same in your settings.

Next go to the BP_GridComponent and then to the Attached Actor Check and make sure the highlighted node in the image below and copy its settings in your project.
