Cable devices have additional device settings specific to cables, you can find these settings by going to the BP_MasterCable, then go to the Class Defaults and find the Cable Settings category.

Here you can change this device’s cable settings, you can hover your mouse over each settings name to get a tooltip with more info about each setting.
Cable Connection Point Types – This setting can be used to control which cable connection points this cable can connect to, for example the default value has the Standard option, which means this cable can only connect to a connection point if it has the Standard connection type.
Cable Static Mesh – This is the mesh used by the spline mesh component which is used by the cable to draw the cable mesh. This mesh will be used as a spline mesh meaning it will be stretched or squished depending on the cable length.
Note – if you replace the Cable Static Mesh you must go to that mesh in the content browser and in its settings tick on Allow CPUAccess. You may also have to go to your meshes materials and tick on the Used with Spline Meshes option.
Bend Length – This is how long the bend spline mesh segments will be (Recommend to keep this at 5 as this gives a good balance of flexibility without stretching the mesh to much)
Preview Mesh
The preview mesh this is the mesh you see when you select the cable to place but have not connected the cable to a connection socket. To change this mesh select the StaticMesh component in the Components panel and in the Details panel change Static Mesh setting.
