To change a plants Spoiling settings go to the plants blueprint so for example the BP_TomatoPlant and select the BP_PlantComponent in the Components panel, then in the Details panel and inside the Plant Settings Category find the Vegetable category like the image below.

Here you can change this plants Vegetable settings, you can hover your mouse over each settings name to get a tooltip with more info about each setting.


If Use Vegetable Spoil Time is true once the plants vegetables are fully grown a spoil timer will begin, after that timer ends the vegetables will be spoiled.

Starting Vegetable Spoil Time is how long the vegetable have after being fully grown before spoiling in seconds.

If Destroy On Vegetable Spoiled is true when the vegetables are spoiled the whole plant will be destroyed.

If Regrow Vegetable Growth on Spoiled is true when the vegetables are spoiled the plant will restart growing the vegetables from 0

If the plant is harvested after the vegetables are spoiled the Spoiled Vegetable Resources are collected by the player instead of the Vegetable Resources. You can set the Resource name as well as the Min and Max amount of that resource. If you want to add new resources click the + button, to remove existing resources click the down arrow next to the index and select Delete.


If Show Vegetable Spoil UI is true the spoil timer will display in the plant info UI panel, if Show Vegetable Spoil UIWhen Vegetables Grown is true then the Spoil timer UI wont display until the plants vegetables are fully grown.


If Use Vegetable Spoil Meshes and Effects is true the plant will used the meshes set in the Vegetable Spoil Meshes when the vegetables spoil, it will also use the Vegetable Spoil Effects to spawn a sound and/or a particle effect at the plants location when it spoils.
